After The Rain - Brighton Fine Art Print. Hove Lawns, East Sussex

I love Brighton just after the rain — when the pavement is still wet, the sky suddenly catches fire and all that colour gets reflected straight back at you.

With this painting I wanted those three sweeping green benches to pull you through the picture, but really it was all about the light — the sunset, the wet ground and those reflections that only exist for a few minutes before everything changes again.

This fine art print reproduces my original acrylic painting on textured Hahnemühle German Etching 310 gsm paper, mounted on 3 mm Alu-Dibond aluminium composite board. (Medium and Large sizes)
